The dynamics of the last months has shaken the international event calendar and forced several show organisers to adjust their agendas. Here are the latest changes at a glance.
ESMA Academy courses initially scheduled for spring this year have been postponed to autumn. The first training about digital printing on textiles at DITF Denkendorf is now planned for 6-9 October 2020. The 5th edition of ESMA Academy “Industrieller Digitaldruck” at the laboratories of Fraunhofer IPA has been moved to 16-19 November 2020. ESMA Inkjet Essentials will not return until 2021, as we are still in the process of searching the most suitable dates.
Digital Textile Congress in Ghent still stays on course for 24-25 September 2020. Similarly, the organisers of glasstec in Düsseldorf remain optimistic about the original dates of 20-23 October 2020. ESMA pavilion dedicated to glass decoration includes Fimor, Gallus-Heidelberg, Global Inkjet Systems, KIWO, Pröll, RUCO, Sefar, SPS Technoscreen and Sun Chemical.
The world’s biggest conference on inkjet engineering and inkjet chemistry, TheIJC, will soon publish the first programme details for their 7th edition, to take place on 27-28 October 2020.
FESPA Global Print Expo in Madrid has been postponed to 6-8 October 2020, while next year’s edition remains scheduled for 18-21 May 2021 in Munich.
With drupa and a number of other events relevant for the printing industry being moved to the first half of 2021, we have decided to postpone the Advanced Functional and Industrial Printing conference until 23-24 November 2021.
