PROMOTING SCREEN PRINTING WITH FUNCTIONAL PRINTING & PRINTED ELECTRONICS

ESMA has had a meeting with DRUPA about the concept of more possibilities for screen printing at the DRUPA show.

drupalogoDuring the meeting, DRUPA has come forward to promote 3 main areas of screen printing, graphics, functional and printed electronics. This is inline with the goal of ESMA to find a new home for screen printing which is wider than the LFP graphics market. DRUPA would like to promote heavily the combination of functional printing (current market) and the future market of printed electronics.

How will this be done? They would like to do world wide promoting to attract visitors (engineers, developers...) to the show which would find the benefit in such printing solutions. The goal is to bring these printing applications under one roof, one hall to promote heavily the subject of screen printing.

ESMA has developed a plan to offer a pavilion towards members and non-members that support screen printing, function printing and maybe even printed electronics. We hope to move also all supporting companies to the area around the pavilion with their own stand.

Bringing together the whole of the screen printing related industry to one hall will attract also more specific visitors.

The location of the pavilion is currently still an open issue. However, there was a suggestion to use hall 7A, which is closer to the main entrance for people coming by train. The hall is newer and could be ideal to gather all the companies.
