We can finally announce the dates for practical sessions of our popular ESMA Academy courses: Industrial Digital Printing and Digital Printing on Textiles: 29-30 November 2022 in Stuttgart and 27-28 September 2022 in Denkendorf.
150 alumni have graduated from the ESMA Academy “Industrial Digital Printing” since 2017. In the last two years we could offer only online theory sessions. All those who attended them, may now register for the practical continuation on 29-30 November 2022 at the laboratories of Fraunhofer Institute for Production Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart. Industry experts and academics will accompany participants at work stations dedicated to ink characterisation, determination of print parameters, drying and cleaning mechanisms, print unit engineering and peripherals, evaluation of print quality and colour management. “Digital Printing on Textiles” was developed by ESMA in cooperation with the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF). After two online course we invite the participants to apply the put the acquired knowledge into practice on 27-28 September 2022 at the facilities of DITF in Denkendorf. The course looks closely at material science, textile chemistry, inkjet pre-treatment, inks and ink formulation, printing and print parameters, post-treatment, characterisation of textiles, colour management and offers a glimpse into a microfactory operation.
