ESMA members, world’s leading suppliers in hardware, ink and consumables for the specialist printing market admit raising their prices in the last ten months. In a recent survey, 57% of our manufacturer members said that the move was related to energy costs, while several others linked the increase to rising raw materials and shipment fees. In average, their prices grew with 8% although there were strong variations between product categories. Before 2022, almost two-thirds of ESMA members increased their prices on yearly basis, and one-third every two years or less often.
