LogoRdLLet´s welcome this new strategic alliance between two Swiss technologic leaders, on the segment of pre and post screen printing, not really a surprise by taking in account the various projects held in high together and giving prove to a new technologic logic for automatization and standardization processes.

When in dialogue with both of these companies it looks easy to realize that both of them are recognized by the international market to have complementary structures, on high quality of Swiss mechanical engineering, with a strong bet on research & development of new projects and products, both highly dedicated to Screen Printing in Graphic´s, Textiles and Industrial Functional applications, as it confirms by having ca. 200 different equipments running in Portugal.

In a changing world, in a reforming Europe, as well the graphic segment sees it´s sector of Screen Printing with new paradigms and clearly in direction to automatic fluxograms as evidenced by so many new projects working based on this new strategic alliance.
In reality the market requirements point to new exigencies, namely:

  • Smaller production runs with faster logistics.
  • Quality improvement.
  • Cost efficiency.
  • Increase of productivity.
  • Environmental responsible.
The answer of these both Swiss companies as been clear and fast:
  • SignTronic AG CTS (Computer-to-Screen) equipments as a technological bet by filmless (no use, no development and no archive of films).Consequently reduction of process steps, increase productivity, costreduction, a tremendous evolution on final quality, standardization and possibility of In-Line automation.
  • To give answer to a automatic fluxograms on pre and post press Gruenig-Interscreen AG developed a modular logic where the assumptions from stencil loading, coating, imaging, development, final drying to un-loading can be modular elaborated in a fully In-Line automatic way. The answer is given by increasing users, internationally as well in Portugal (recent installations as for large format, textile professional printing, T-Shirt piece by piece textile printing, transfer´s, security signage, etc.), proving in absolute its benefits:
    • Automatic fluxograms.
    • Less labour handling.
    • Decrease of consumables use.
    • Costs reduction.
    • Increased productivity.
    • ROI – Return of Investment calculations.
    • Considerable increase of print quality.

In a modern Screen Printing pre-press the link to CTS technology and In-Line automation it’s growing the importance of screen stencil quality. Only with automatic industrial fluxograms it is finally possible to know the real process costs and a “surprise” for many related to the economic value of Screen Printing Technology.

CTS technology is the choice of the future for the Stencil Making Dpt´s, taken now as of greater importance, a tool of fundamental importance, allowing new possibilities at graphic innovative design level and by differentiation.
