Interior decoration by Knoblauch Design one of the speakers at the creative track at PID 2018 copyInterior decoration by Knoblauch Design one of the speakers at the creative track at PID 2018It’s only weeks until the second edition of the Printed Interior Decoration conference. Participants from Europe, Asia and the USA learn and network about the latest solutions for home textiles, wallpapers, glass walls, laminated floorings, wooden panels, carpets, building and mobile interiors.

“Large format printing and industrial inkjet in general have been increasingly stimulating the trend of developing printed products for interior decoration, as well as personalisation of design items. The trend has expanded in the professional environment and found its way into shops, bars, hotels, offices and other commercial areas. It employs digital printing technology for creating series of unique designs on wood, glass, textiles and other materials,” says Peter Buttiens, CEO of ESMA. “In that context, we invite technology suppliers, as well as printers, interior designers, shop fitters and architects to PID 2018.”

Printed Interior Decoration will discuss topics ranging from substrates, workflow and pre-press, through printing systems, inks and finishing, to regulations and case studies, not only from suppliers but all involved in the creative process, including designers and print service providers. Some of the papers submitted for the main conference track include:

Keynote speeches are delivered by representatives of the academic world, including Prof. Kislaya Choudhary from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Prof. Hitoshi Ujiie from Jefferson University and Prof. Marc Van Parys from Unitex/TexZeppelin.
