TPS 2026 OPENS CALL FOR PAPERS: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE TEXTILE PRINTING

DSC 0052

The organisers of the Textile Printing & Sustainability (TPS) Conference announce the official Call for Papers for TPS 2026, taking place 15–17 September 2026 at the Hochschule Niederrhein in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

A Growing, Interdisciplinary Platform

The textile industry is undergoing accelerated change driven by regulation, consumer expectations, and global supply-chain disruptions. New opportunities are emerging in nearshoring, waste reduction, water-saving processes, energy efficiency, and automation. TPS 2026 will address these developments across its two main pillars:

  • Technology: printheads, hardware systems, software and workflow automation, colour management, digital and screen printing, ink and chemistry innovation, textile applications including home textiles, apparel, sportswear, workwear, DTG/DTF, and smart textiles
  • Sustainability: water and energy reduction, circular economy, traceability, new business models, regulatory landscape, and practical case studies

The conference is recognised for its uniquely collaborative environment. As one 2024 participant put it:

“The real added value of this conference is bringing so many different disciplines together at the same table.” — Sigrid Kleine, SPGPrints

Another added:

“An excellent combination of new learning, innovative technology, debate and opinion.” — Dan Savident, Coveme

These qualities make TPS not only a knowledge platform but also a catalyst for cross-industry partnerships.
