Sharing Ideas, Inspiring Changes

Screen printing and inkjet printing continue to play an important role in industrial production. When it comes to production, the question is whether it is better to meet the rapid technical changes and market requirements with versatility or specialisation? As an experienced full-service provider for printing technology, ESC offers solutions for generating further growth through the targeted and efficient use of modern screen, pad and digital printing systems. Having been successful in supplying advanced printing systems and related peripherals for 75 years is unique.

Especially when it comes to high efficiency, ESC recommends Sakurai cylinder screen printing systems. Whether in the food, automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical or packaging industries – cylinder screen printing is the right solution when high quantities need to be printed on functional media or when thin, surface-sensitive materials such as films are involved. Maximum accuracy with uniform layer application is the decisive criterion here. This can be realised quickly and easily with the Sakurai MAESTRO SD series, for example. The automatic stop cylinder has servo drives for separately controllable functional sequences of the printing cylinder, the master frame and the squeegee drive, as well as automatic, optical sheet alignment. This can optionally be supplemented by a CCD camera system. Such equipment enables even more precise adjustment to the respective production requirements when printing conductive pastes, for example.

The Sakurai cylinder screen printing models can be extended with an appropriate foiling system to enhance offset prints and achieve special metallised or haptic effects. An interesting addition that can be used for all graphic applications, packaging printing, the automotive or plastic card sector.

The ESC-AT flatbed screen printing machines are also designed for mass production in the industrial sector and for integration into complex production processes. Here too, an optional CCD camera system ensures the all-important precision of the material feed and print repeat accuracy. Various automations such as a feeding station, pre-treatment, stacker or a suitable dryer can be integrated and the machine can thus be expanded into a complex production system.

For industrial inkjet printing, ESC offers the Mimaki UJF systems for smaller formats with their versatile UV inks. They are characterised by outstanding print quality and user-friendliness. Such a system can be further automated by ESC, for example by connecting it to a tray server as a feeder. Mimaki plotters or hybrid systems for printing and plotting complete the digital printing range.
