The machine is equipped with camera systems for screen and substrate alignment as standard and can be supplemented with virtually unlimited options.

The machine displayed on the joint ESMA booth at drupa will feature advanced print control, double-sided anti-drip system, scratch reduced printing table, a cleaning unit and intelligent ionization together with the automatic sheet feeder with pick & place handling.

The THIEME 3000 Vision AL has been developed primarily for foil/FIM and sheet metal printing in the automotive sector as well as for the printing of decorative panels, membrane switches and white/black goods. Other target markets include printed electronics and printed heaters.
For the market launch, there will be live print demonstrations of the THIEME 3000 Vision AL at least twice a day at Drupa on stand B81-7.

Digital printing: versatility and individuality

THIEME is offering customised digital printing solutions for industrial production. Therefore, we will display one of our latest products, the THIEME 505 D MINT digital printing system, which has been developed for high volume printing of coins. The highlight of this system is the integrated camera alignment system, which can detect the position of various substrates (coins) and rip the printing file to match those positions. In the fully automatic version, the printer can print up to 15.000 coins per shift and has become a very successful tool for mint decoration, worldwide. This is a typical example for a digital printing solution with customised material handling and print head design.
